The NeISS Project hosted a "Web tools for social simulation" workshop on Monday 14th March at the JISC 2011 Conference in Liverpool.

The workshop introduced tools which add value to social data, including simulation modelling, data fusion and visualisation.  We used examples from the NeISS project to demonstrate the relevance of these tools to problems in disciplines as diverse as social policy, geography, health sciences and criminology.
